Michelle Onorio is the founding partner and principal of Briarwood Private Wealth. Michelle has over 15 years in the financial industry and is notably invested to her client’s successes. Michelle began her financial services career at First Investors Corporation in 2001 where she served in a variety of enhanced capacities which include sales supervisor in 2006, Branch Manager in 2007 and most recently as Vice President in 2011.
Michelle is passionate about educating and assisting her clients in making the right decisions when it comes to their money to ultimately achieve financial freedom. She believes that with the proper professional guidance, everyone can achieve their financial goals.
In 2015 she decided to bring this professional guidance back to her clients and reestablish herself in the financial advising and wealth management marketplace. Along with her husband and co-founder, Gaetano Onorio, they established Briarwood Private Wealth. Both Michelle and Gaetano take great pride in offering their experience and resources which are necessary for their current and future clients to enjoy financial success. An active member of the National Association of Professional Women, Michelle has received an award for Outstanding Excellence and Dedication to Her Profession and the Achievement of Women.
Michelle is a Massachusetts native, growing up in Dedham and graduating from Dedham High School. She earned her Bachelors’ Degree in Finance from the W.P Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Michelle is also an accomplished athlete and is most proud of her three finishes in the Boston Marathon. In her free time she enjoys the joys of being a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend.
Michelle holds her series 6, 7, 24, 26, 51, 63, and 66 Licenses as well as her MA producers Life Insurance License.
